BITSAT

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test. Students must pass an online exam in order to be admitted to the undergraduate engineering programmes (BE) offered at its three campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
The BITSAT exam is given annually by BITS Pilani, and those who pass it are accepted into the B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. programmes.

BITSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

To take the BITSAT in 2022, students must fulfil the conditions given below.

Candidates must have passed the class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State board, or its equivalent, with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in order to be admitted to any of the degree programmes offered by BITS. Candidates must have a sufficient level of English proficiency. Candidates should have received a minimum of 75% overall in the areas of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with at least 60% in each of those courses.

For consideration for admission to the B.Pharm (Hons) programme, applicants must have successfully completed the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology requirements of a class 12 examination administered by a recognised Central or State board, or its equivalent. Candidates must have a sufficient level of English proficiency. Candidates with PCMB in class 12 may yet apply to BITS’s Pharmacy programme. Candidates must have received a minimum of 60% in each of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math, if they are PCMB students: for a total score of at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math.

Only students taking the 12th grade test in 2023 or who passed in 2022 are qualified to take the BITSAT in 2023. For the student, there are just two opportunities.

The exam is not open to students who are currently enrolled in classes at any of the BITS campuses.

Admissions are made solely on the basis of merit, which is further dependent on the score a student achieves on the test. However, as was said above, they must obtain the necessary minimum marks in the 12th examination in order to be eligible for admission.

Direct Admission to Board Toppers for BITSAT 2022
Regardless of their BITSAT score, all Board Toppers students from central and state boards in India will receive direct admission, and they will be given the option of choosing their branch. It is not necessary for the winners to show up for BITSAT.
